• Grab your tools: You'll need tongs, a coil burner (electric or stovetop), and a well-ventilated area.
  
• Light it up: Place 2-3 coals on the burner and turn it on high. After 5-7 minutes, the coals will be red on the bottoms. Use tongs to flip them over for even heating.
  
• Wait for the glow: It takes around 8-12 minutes for MIK COCO coals to fully light. You'll know they're ready when they're glowing orange-red all over and covered in a thin layer of ash.
  
• Safety first: Always use tongs to handle hot coals, and never light them indoors without proper ventilation. Crack a window or take the lighting process outside to avoid carbon monoxide buildup.
